Friendsgiving in Ojai

Friends + Thanksgiving.

Friendsgiving.

STEY-02

Last November, my family and I spent a week with our close friends in a magical house in Ojai before the big Ventura fires took it away. But I’m grateful for the memories and these incredible pictures that Todd Pinckney took.

I look back on our trip to Ojai with friends and I feel so much gratitude towards them for their friendship and their faith and support in me and my family. For most of them, we’ve been doing life together for over 12 years and now growing families together is just so special to witness. God has created us to desire relationships and crave community and to have one like mine is just gold.

Jane and Justin’s Franciscan Garden Wedding

weddings

As this holiday season is quickly approaching us and wedding season is slowing down, I love using this time to reflect on all the amazing clients I got to work with and weddings I got to be a part of through florals. It’s truly amazing how faithful God has been in this little flower journey of mine. Through this, I am blown away by all the incredible people that has been put in my path. I’m just grateful. So very grateful. And this wedding is one of them.

Jane and Justin’s wedding was back in March at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano. The color palette we went with was an earthy spring tone. Lots of muted and soft citrus and blush. We wanted to give it a very romantic spring vibe.

Holly and Matt’s Emerald-White Temecula Wedding

weddings

I had the privilege to work with Holly on her stunning wedding vision to make a white and green wedding shine like a jewel! She wanted an elegant affair of deep emerald jewel tones paired with crisp white and cream along with subtle pops of copper tones to have a modern lush feel amongst the vineyard meadows in Temecula.

I am detailed oriented so when I see the vision and style carried out in little details, it makes my heart so happy! Jordan, the photographer, is just a magician with that camera of hers. She too, has a detailed eye and she didn’t miss anything! As a florist, to have someone capture every detail and flower that I’ve intentionally put and placed, makes my work feel so loved and seen.
