Jenn and Ivan’s Magical All Whites Wedding at The Colony House

weddings

This venue and this couple was just pure magic! For my non-local San Diegean brides, I have to work with them over the phone and I don’t meet them usually till their big day, so sometimes we take longer to communicate styles and inspirations (thank God for Pinterest right?) but for Jenn, I knew after the first phone call! Her kind and trusting personality came across immediately and I just loved working with her on this all whites and greenery magical wedding!

Her style was very clean, romantic, modern with a touch of whimsical.

Chrislynn and Scott’s Summer Night Wedding in Pasadena

weddings

There’s something so magical getting married under a giant tree with string light, surrounded by the people that love you and with warm summer breezes in the air. This little venue is tucked away in the side streets of Pasadena called Happy Trails Catering that offers the warm backyard feels of their space to get hitched.

For Chrislynn and Scott’s wedding I used a soft, dusty lavender palette, complimenting that with a dusty blue from blue thistle, dusty rose from quicksand roses, mint from dusty miller, and grey from silver bruina balls to neutralize the tones even more.

Hannah and Larry’s Marsala Toned Coronado Wedding

weddings

If you ever meet Hannah, you will immediately be drawn to her personality and after 5 minutes of talking to her, you’ll feel like you’re talking to one of your best friends. All of our meetings have been twice as long because we just had so much fun talking about wedding, flowers, and life! Hannah is also a professional personal trainer/weight lifter and competes competitively. So don’t mess with her, the girl’s got guns!
