weddings

You guys! I am so excited to share with you this beautiful aviation themed wedding that I did in mid December. It was such a perfect cool, sunny day here in San Diego! Tim and Sheena are good friends of mine and my husband’s and I can’t say enough how thrilled we were to finally see them hitched! So here are just a few teasers that I wanted to share with you from that beautiful day!

Tis the Season to Give: Children of the Nations

events

A couple of months ago I had the honor to help design the centerpieces and stage area for a non-profit benefit dinner and fundraiser for Children of the Nations.  In the process of designing and putting together the pieces for this event, I was also educated on what this organization does.  COTNI (Children of the Nations International) partners with different country’s nationals to help provide care for the orphan and destitute children. It really is amazing what they do! There are so many children in need and in this Christmas season, I encourage us all to find ways to give back.  As a mother now, helping children in need has a whole new meaning.  Anyway, please check out their site if you feel the urge to help or donate: Children of the Nations

DIY: Christmas Wreath

DIY, lifestyle

Christmas is right around the corner! Can you believe it?? How has another year gone by so quickly? For me, this year was full of….well….EVERYTHING! I was pregnant and now I have a kid?! Wait what? How did this happen? Haha…don’t worry, I know how it happened, you don’t have to tell me about the birds and the bees…yah de da da la… but anyways…that baby that I just told you I had…well…he’s 8 months old already! And as you can probably guess, this Christmas is even more special!

But let me tell you…having a kid sure cuts into your DIY and crafting time along with your DIY/crafting budget! So I’ve had some friends who have been askin
g me to do and share some DIY things/tips that I’ve done and although some may not necessarily involve flowers all the time, but it will involve budget friendly-time efficient projects (cuz let’s be honest, we don’t have all the time and money in the world to be working on little crafts whether we are moms or not).

So I present to you, my first DIY share on this blog! And inspired by the season…the Christmas Wreath.

Kelsey and Rob: Red Barn, Valley Center

weddings

You guys!! I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous wedding! A couple months back I did a rustic barnyard outdoor wedding and although the drive was long and far, it was worth it! The venue was absolutely beautiful! I had the pleasure of meeting Kelsey through her best friend and Maid of Honor, Kelsey! Yes! Both their names are Kelsey and I got the honor to do both of their weddings! (Refer back to La Jolla Wedding: Kelsey and Joel).

Anyway, Kelsey and Rob are absolutely PERFECT together! And I have the pictures to prove it! But first when you meet them, you’re gonna think that this stunning couple is so fit and you’re right to think that! They own a gym called ZASTC and if you live near El Cajon you should check it out! And about those pictures…well….here ya go!
