Chic Jungle themed Baby Shower for a Sweet Boy to come!

events

To change things up a bit and to break up the wedding posts, I’m sharing a fun little baby shower that I did last year! The hostess + my friend + photographer Kelsey, thought of this fun jungle theme for her sister in law. I wanted to be sure to incorporate chic and modern elements to it without it feeling like it’s been over done.

The black and white pops really added a clean touch to something we also wanted to feel wild.

My favorite part about doing anything tropical is that each leaf is so big and vibrant and textural, you really don’t need to go crazy with it. I mixed all sorts of palms and tropical plants to create texture and interest. we added the pops of metallic next to the black and white to really make the greens stand out.

This is Kate and she is the sweetest and prettiest mama to be! I’m so happy for their family to bring in a cute little addition! Congrats on your baby boy Kate!

XOXO

Hosting a Dinner Party on a Budget

DIY, events, lifestyle

This past weekend I hosted a dinner party that doubled as a “Sip ‘N See” for my best friend Melissa. ¬†For those who don’t know what a “Sip ‘N See” is, it’s a little post baby shower. So you can SEE the baby while SIPPIN’ on some champagne to celebrate the momma and babe! My friend Melissa just had her third daughter, Lucia Rey and she is absolutely perfect!
