Desiree and Stephen: A Costal Boho Love

There is so much to love about this wedding and I cannot not share all this amazing goodness.

I had worked with Desiree over the phone for her whole wedding, as I do with most of my out of San Diego clients, but immediately when I chatted with her, I loved her heart and vision.

But when I first met her, it was after I was dropping off her personal flowers at her hotel that she was getting ready at, but only that she wasn’t getting ready…she was out and about running errands and it was’t until I on my way out leaving the hotel that she stopped me.  She was just coming back from the farmer’s market to pick up some florals that reminded her of her father who had passed away.  She was also having coffee at the place where her dad used to take her and journaling and meditating on one of her biggest days of her life and thinking about how the first man she ever loved…her daddy, wasn’t there to give her away. As much sadness as there was in all of this, there was so much hope and joy because God’s just good like that. She has found the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with and to grow old with, Stephen. That moment in the lobby of her hotel that she stopped me and gave me a hug, I just knew that I already adored her  and she knew that her dad was smiling on her big day.

Also, she was the best and 20 min after I had dropped of the personal flowers, she had sent me the cutest selfie with her bridal bouquet. It’s things like that, that just make my heart so happy and make me love what I do even more!

I’m utterly in love with all of the bridesmaids dresses and the texture/pattern combination! And I don’t even know what to say about Desiree’s gown. It’s literally breathtaking! Did you see the back?? Jaw Drop. Dead. Freaking Amazing!

I’m not gonna lie, the bamboo arch is probably one of my least favorite arches.  But with this view, that couple and the color palette that they chose, the soft blonde bamboo totally worked!

Ok, you all are gonna be blown away by this…. Desiree started her new calligraphy business called, Learned and Calligraphy and she hand wrote ALL of these personalized escort card + letter thanking EACH OF HER GUESTS for coming along with a individualized message about them. IT WAS AMAZING and so incredibly intentional and thoughtful. I have never seen anything like this. Wow right??

Desiree and Stephen….thank you SO MUCH for letting me and trusting me to do the florals for your incredible day. I wish you nothing but the best and love for all of your days together! You guys are perfect!

Be Happy. Be Floral.
